This year, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America!
Here in Coshocton County, we’re planning the ultimate celebration across multiple locations & organizations on the weekend of July 16-19. From educational lectures to free admissions, concerts to plays, car shows to light shows, there’s a wide array of programming for all ages and interests.

The Secret Garden by GhostBox Productions
Take an evening and travel to The Secret Garden at Clary Gardens! Presented by GhostBox Productions, this musical chronicles the life of an orphan named Mary and her discovery and repair of an abandoned garden. She is transformed by her experience with the garden, as are those around her. Tickets are available at ghostboxproductions.com for July 9, 10, 11, 16, & 17.

Betty Zane: Heroine of the Revolution
Elizabeth “Betty” Zane was only seventeen when she saved Fort Henry in the last battle of the Revolutionary War. Her life would inspire author Zane Grey’s first book. Her family founded Zanesville, Marietta, Wheeling, and part of the first National Road. Let’s celebrate this remarkable young heroine of the American Revolution and the early United States. Riverwalk with Mary Beck & Native Delaware artist Holly Wilson
Native Delaware sculptor Holly Wilson will join Mary Beck to lead a river walk exploring the McWane River Walk in search of the perfect site for a sculpture. This sculpture, entitled Here One Turns to Go Upriver, will celebrate the Wyandot meaning of Coshocton. Holly will set up for the rest of the morning near the Farmer’s Market to talk with visitors.

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to tour the Coshocton County Courthouse for free on Saturday, July 18th as part of Coshocton’s America-250 celebration! Tours available 12pm-4pm, with local historian Ken Smailes giving history lectures during this time as well.

Our Town Coshocton Summer Concert Series | 7 Bridges – Eagles Tribute
The second event of Our Town Coshocton’s Summer Concert Series is July 18, 2026 at 7:30pm. Presented by the City of Coshocton – City Hall and Our Town Coshocton, this concert is FREE and open to the public. Just bring your own chair and get ready for an unforgettable night of music! Attendees 21 and older can enjoy the DORA, no coolers allowed.
